Modest women were told to choose: cover up, or feel beautiful. The swimwear that actually covered was shapeless and heavy, made to hide in, not to swim in. We thought that was a false choice. So in 1998 we started making the swimwear we couldn't find: covered, easy to move in, and genuinely lovely to wear.
It starts in our own workshop. For over 25 years we have made our modest swimwear in-house, still in the same family-run workshop: we design the prints, cut the fabric, and sew each piece with care. Keeping the whole process under one roof is how we hold our quality, and it is why every garment feels unique.
Our prints are ours alone. We design and print every one in-house, so you will not find them on any other label. It is the detail our customers fall for first, and the reason a Sara piece looks like nothing else at the pool.
